at Country Charm Log Cabins

Mari and Jerry bought 20 acres of untamed land in 1996, moved here in 1999 after Jerry retired with 30 years at Caterpillar Tractor. What began as a dream became a plan. One large office/residence and six rental cabins later along with 3 ponds, 20 additional acres of land and walking trails have put Country Charm on the map of the world. We have had guests from most of the 50 states but also 36 countries. Jerry was the driving force behind the layout and construction. Unfortunately, Jerry was diagnosed with cancer in late 2015 and passed over to a better place the summer of 2017. Mari continues to run Country Charm and still enjoys meeting people from near and distant places. Seeing so many people return year after year is certainly rewarding.

We offer six luxury log cabins for rent. Virtual tours can be seen on the reservation page. Walking trails, Hot Tubs, peace and quiet. Great place to get away for awhile.

Country Charm - Autumn

Midnight rains pound the log cabin's metal roof
heralding colder weather and brisk morning breezes.
Adirondack chairs grace the back porch. Chattering crows interrupt the silence. Mama herds her ducklings
across the pond. Cardinals feast at the birdfeeder as squirrels dance among the pines. A chocolate-brown lab
sleeps on the dock.

Red, gold and orange trees decorate the landscape their leaves swirl
across the field. Cozy log cabins scattered throughout the woods.

The aroma of fresh brewed coffee piggy backs the crisp air. Blueberry pancakes,
a recipe for friendship. Arkansas-a retreat for the soul.
